About the Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of our Christchurch Lighting Hub. In this role, you will manage all activities related to client engagement and business development, allowing you the freedom to operate the space in a manner that reflects your vision.
Your responsibilities will include proactively growing our client base through targeted prospecting and outbound sales efforts. You will deliver engaging consultations and specifications, helping clients appreciate the commercial and creative value of our design-led solutions.
Additionally, you will develop and host training sessions and events to build relationships and showcase our latest products. Collaborating closely with architects, designers, and specifiers, you will influence projects from the early design stages. You will also work in conjunction with our national sales and design team to achieve outstanding client outcomes and drive sales growth.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record of sales success, with experience in business development, client management, and achieving performance targets. While experience in lighting is preferred, we are open to considering candidates from other design-related backgrounds.
You should possess a commercial mindset and be proactive in identifying opportunities for upselling and converting leads into sales. A confident communicator, you will be skilled at building credibility and nurturing long-term relationships with specifiers, electricians, and designers.
We are looking for a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual who thrives in an autonomous, client-facing role.
