About the Role We are currently seeking enthusiastic and natural-born problem-solvers to join our vibrant team as Hygiene Service Technicians. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on variety and enjoy the challenge of serving different customers each day. As the heart of our operation, our technicians provide exceptional cleaning services and take pride in delivering excellent customer care in a dynamic work environment. All our technicians receive professional training in our products and services, as well as health and safety procedures. We have implemented skills-based hiring, meaning that we assess candidates based on the actual skills necessary for the job. Therefore, no prior experience is required; if you possess the right skills, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities - Effectively load and unload the service vehicle to complete daily assignments. - Perform cleaning services in washrooms and public toilets according to job specifications and client policies. - Provide and maintain hygiene products, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers, sanitizers, sanitary bins, and air fresheners. - Address hygiene risks and client concerns to enhance work environments. - Complete service reports to document the services performed. - Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. - Stay aware of client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards. Requirements - Eligibility to work full-time in New Zealand. - A full New Zealand driver's license with a clean driving record. - A clean criminal record. - Strong customer service skills to build and maintain client relationships. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Physically fit and capable of adhering to health and safety standards. - Ability to work independently in the field and manage time efficiently. - Willingness to drive long distances and stay away from home when necessary. - High attention to detail to maintain standards and achieve set targets. - Confidence in using mobile phone service apps and devices. - Experience or knowledge in cleaning and hygiene is an advantage. Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment assessment that includes medical, reference, and criminal background checks, meeting the satisfactory criteria set by Rentokil Initial.
