About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Administration Support professional to join our team at Nelson Hospital in a permanent full-time capacity. This role plays a crucial part in facilitating patient flow through our hospital system and supporting our clinical teams.
As a Clinical Administration Support member, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks that include managing our patient information system, scheduling appointments, handling elective bookings via wait-lists, and ensuring the efficient processing of documentation. We are looking for a personable and capable administrator who possesses outstanding communication and organizational skills.
While dictaphone experience and a typing speed of 50 words per minute would be advantageous, what matters most is your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position requires you to work 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday, with specific hours to be discussed.

About You
To be successful in the Clinical Administration Support role, you should:
- Be a personable and cooperative administrator with strong organizational skills.
- Possess a bright, outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer service.
- Be a competent typist with a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
- Show empathy and respect for maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage a busy workload effectively.
Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, although it is not essential.
