The Opportunity
We invite you to join a dynamic production team in the cardboard manufacturing industry located in Levin. This role is ideal for individuals with factory experience who thrive in busy environments and seek growth opportunities within a reputable global company. In this hands-on position, you will operate high-speed machinery, manage finished goods, and contribute to the smooth operation of our production processes, all while staying fit and active.
Perks of the Job
We offer permanent positions for reliable and high-performing team members. You will enjoy time and a half pay after 8 hours, with additional shifts available. All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided, and pay is disbursed weekly.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure consistent quality and output.
- Safely and efficiently pack, stack, and shift finished cardboard products.
- Support your team by communicating effectively and problem-solving to meet daily targets.
- Adhere to strict safety and quality standards to keep production on track.
What You Will Bring
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in a factory or production setting, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift repetitively (20 kg or more).
- Reliability, a safety-conscious mindset, and a willingness to learn new machinery or processes.
- The ability to pass a Ministry of Justice and drug screening.
Hours and Shifts
Our shifts run from Monday to Friday. The morning shift is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and the afternoon shift is from 2:20 PM to 10:20 PM. Overtime opportunities will be available after training, including weekends and extended hours on weekdays.
