About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join our dedicated and friendly Transport team in Timaru. In this role, you will be involved in various transport duties throughout Timaru and the surrounding regions. You will work closely with a supportive team in an environment that values both productivity and enjoyment. Key Responsibilities In this position, your responsibilities will include: - Driving and operating trucks and machinery safely and professionally. - Maintaining trucks and equipment in a clean and presentable condition while monitoring maintenance schedules. - Ensuring compliance with all transport regulations, including current Road User Charges (RUC), Certificates of Fitness (COF), and vehicle registration. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes: - A Class 5 Driver's Licence with WTR endorsements. - Flexibility in working hours and the ability to work away from home as needed. - Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred. - A proactive approach to Health and Safety, as it is our top priority. - A strong work ethic and a positive attitude. - Good interpersonal and communication skills. - Reliability and excellent time management skills.
