Support Cleaner Required in Christchurch

About the Role We are currently seeking a Support Cleaner to join our team in Christchurch. This is a permanent, full-time position offering 30 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on operational demand. You will report directly to the Contracts Supervisor/Manager and will be responsible for a range of cleaning tasks including wet mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning toilets, showers, urinals, ledges, kitchens, hallways, and offices, as well as using equipment such as walk-behind scrubbers and performing hand sweeping. Whether you possess professional cleaning experience or are new to the field, we welcome your application. For those without prior experience, we are happy to provide comprehensive training. The work schedule for this role is as follows: Monday to Thursday: 5:30 PM to 12:00 AM Sunday: 6:00 PM to 12:30 AM Total: 30 hours paid Requirements To succeed in this position, you will need to meet the following criteria: - Pass and maintain Ministry of Justice and NZ Police security checks - Hold a valid driver's license and have access to your own vehicle (a travel allowance will be provided where applicable) - Be confident in entering various sites and managing alarm systems - Reside in Christchurch, New Zealand - Be flexible and willing to cover additional hours if needed Benefits We offer a supportive work environment with uniform and training provided.
