Cafe Supervisor & Foodie
We are seeking a Front of House professional who possesses outstanding customer service skills and a genuine passion for preparing and presenting delicious food. In this role, you will support our dedicated Cafe Manager, who is also a food enthusiast, in the daily operations of food service and team management, while ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere for our customers.
This position requires someone who can effectively multitask, think on their feet, and maintain a positive demeanor and energy throughout their shift.

About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Support the Cafe Manager with daily operations and team leadership.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Manage staff schedules and ensure effective shift coverage.
- Bring a minimum of one year of experience in a senior café role, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to build relationships with both colleagues and customers.
- Prepare simple cabinet food and assist with kitchen preparation tasks.
- Be available to work weekdays and weekends as per the roster.
- Have knowledge of espresso and soft brew techniques as an advantage, though a willingness to learn about coffee is essential.
- Maintain good personal presentation and hygiene.
- Handle pressure and solve problems effectively.
- Engage with customers at the front-of-house and manage the register.
- Uphold cleanliness, food safety, and compliance standards.
- Contribute to fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Step into keyholder or shift-running responsibilities as needed.
This position is a full-time permanent role based on a four-day work week. Applicants must be available to work on both weekdays and weekends, as the schedule will likely include shifts across both.
