About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager for a six-month contract to support our operations in Auckland, New Zealand. This pivotal role will involve overseeing month-end and year-end reporting, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing strategic financial insights that guide key decisions across the business.
In this role, you will lead the finance team, which includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accountant, and Finance Business Partner. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a hands-on capacity, and we expect you to hit the ground running to make a meaningful impact during your time with us.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have a degree in business, finance, or accounting, along with proven experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis, preferably within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector or a similar dynamic environment.
We are particularly looking for candidates who possess:
- CPA or CA accreditation (preferred but not required)
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
- Excellent abstract reasoning and financial acumen
- Methodical problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- The capacity to prioritize a busy workload and work efficiently
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and IT systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
Your effective communication skills will enable you to engage with a variety of stakeholders, and alignment with our Patties values is essential.
