About the Role We are currently seeking a Freight Officer to join our team in Wellington. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries over the phone and in person, as well as managing freight operations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. We are looking for a computer-savvy individual who possesses excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude. This position also requires some heavy lifting, so physical fitness is an advantage. Requirements - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Proficiency in computer applications - Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Physical capability to handle occasional heavy lifting - A positive attitude and a willingness to learn Benefits We offer the following benefits for this full-time position: - 40 hours per week with potential for overtime - Monday to Friday work schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Opportunities for career growth and development - Comprehensive induction and ongoing training support All candidates will need to provide proof of eligibility to work in New Zealand and undergo pre-employment checks.
