About the Role We currently have several Process Worker positions available for our 2025 - 2026 season, which will commence in October. These roles are crucial to our operations and will include both day and night shifts. While relevant experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as we provide comprehensive training for all new hires. The positions are full-time, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week, and offer a guaranteed minimum weekly wage of $705.00. There is potential for increased earnings when allowances and piece rates are considered. Please note that hours may vary above 30 hours per week in accordance with seasonal workflows and our annual close-down periods. Applicants must also be available to work on Saturdays. Key Responsibilities As a Process Worker, your duties will include: - Performing yard duties and handling livestock - Processing meat carcasses according to customer specifications - Safely separating organs and glands from carcasses using proper knife handling techniques - Operating machinery to process, pack, and transfer carcasses or products - Packing boned meat and related products into cartons - Moving carcasses to chillers and freezers - Loading meat products into trucks - Cleaning and sanitizing work equipment and areas Requirements We are looking for individuals who possess the following characteristics: - Enthusiastic, reliable, and strong team players - Willingness to learn and develop professionally - Commitment to safety and quality excellence Benefits Successful applicants will join an employee-focused and customer-driven company that prioritizes a safe working environment.
