About the Role We are currently seeking Process Workers for our 2025 - 2026 season, which will commence in October. While experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not a requirement as we provide comprehensive training to all new employees. These positions will involve both day and night shifts. The roles are based at our facility located on State Highway 1, Marton. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays. These are full-time positions with a minimum of 30 hours per week, offering a guaranteed weekly salary of at least $705.00. There is also potential for increased earnings based on allowances and piece rates. Please note that hours may vary above the minimum due to the seasonal nature of our operations and our annual close-down periods. Key Responsibilities Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: - Performing yard duties and handling livestock - Processing meat carcasses according to customer specifications - Separating organs and glands from carcasses while adhering to safe knife handling practices - Operating machinery for processing, packing, and transferring carcasses or products - Packing boned meat and meat products into cartons - Moving carcasses to chillers and freezers - Loading meat products onto trucks - Cleaning and sanitizing work equipment and areas Requirements We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities: - Enthusiasm, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team - A willingness to learn and grow in the role - A strong commitment to safety and quality excellence Benefits Successful applicants will join a company that prioritizes employee well-being and customer satisfaction while fostering a safe working environment.
