About the Role
We are currently seeking a fit, practical, and customer-oriented Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Technician to join our team. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive hourly rate along with commission opportunities. As a technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services to both residential and commercial clients throughout the Wellington region.
This role is dynamic and engaging, allowing you to interact with a variety of customers. Ideal candidates will be confident, dependable, and physically active, with a strong desire to take pride in their work. The position also includes a commission structure, making it suitable for individuals who are motivated by upselling and earning rewards for their efforts.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Visit homes and businesses throughout Wellington to provide carpet and upholstery cleaning services.
- Engage with customers to build trust and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Upsell products and services as appropriate, allowing for additional commission earnings.
- Maintain your company vehicle and equipment to the highest standard, ensuring a professional presentation at all times.
To Be Successful, You'll Need
To excel in this position, you should possess the following:
- A clean, full New Zealand driver's license, with a manual license preferred.
- A clean Ministry of Justice check.
- Good physical fitness and stamina, as the role involves being on your feet and performing physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Strong communication skills and a confident, professional demeanor.
- Experience in customer service and/or sales is beneficial.
- The ability to work independently and solve problems on the job.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work that leaves customers satisfied.
