About the Role
We are seeking a Commercial Fleet Service Technician / Tyre Fitter to join our team at our Hamilton commercial store. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our customers' fleet vehicles. Your responsibilities will include tyre maintenance, on-site and in-store servicing and fitting, as well as maintaining accurate records and job cards. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will interact with customers directly.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A full, clean New Zealand Driver's License
- Some experience working with tyres, or a strong willingness to learn about the industry
- Availability for full-time work, including on-call weekend shifts as needed
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently, ensuring high standards of work
