About the Role We are looking for a skilled warehouse operator to join our Albany team. While experience is desirable, we are willing to provide full training for the right candidate. If you possess a positive attitude, a desire to develop in the role, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a small but vital team, we encourage you to apply. The ideal candidate will: - Be able to work independently while also contributing to team efforts - Listen attentively, stay focused, and follow established procedures - Understand and accurately use Tactical's software system (training will be provided) - Maintain organization and demonstrate keen attention to detail - Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse - Be self-motivated and possess a positive outlook - Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with flexibility - Have excellent written, verbal, and computer communication skills - Contribute input and ideas for continuous improvement and growth - Gain expertise in all Tactical's products - Optimize warehouse layout and practices for maximum efficiency - Be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting and stacking cartons of various weights, adhering to health and safety standards - Ideally hold a current forklift license Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be involved in standard warehouse operations with a focus on several major government contracts. Your responsibilities will include: - Timely and accurate receipting of deliveries, assistance with unloading, and identification of damaged or missing goods - Creation and actioning of sales and purchase order requirements - Managing transfer orders for inter-company shipments, both inwards and outwards - Conducting ongoing quality checks of inventory and regular rolling stock takes - Entering data accurately and consistently into the company's inventory management system - Contributing to a tidy and efficient warehouse environment - Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately, ensuring correct ticketing for courier parcels - Storing inventory appropriately on warehouse shelving, placing goods on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards Please note that a clean police vetting check is essential for this position, and we will conduct this on your behalf.
