About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee a dedicated team of electrical staff, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include supervising job sites, mentoring team members, and managing schedules. You will play a crucial role in shaping the success of our projects and the development of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical services for industrial, commercial, and domestic projects.
- Lead project planning, including timelines, resource allocation, and procurement of materials.
- Collaborate with Foremen, Project Managers, and site personnel to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
- Ensure health and safety policies are implemented and adhered to across all sites.
- Oversee team training, development, and mentorship of apprentices.
- Manage project documentation, including cost reports, invoices, and compliance paperwork.
About You
To excel in this role, you will need:
Experience: A minimum of four years as an Electrician, along with at least two years of experience as a Foreman.
Qualifications: NZ Electrical Registration, Site Safe Passport, First Aid Certificate, and a valid driver's license.
Skills: A strong knowledge of electrical installation methods, personnel management, and familiarity with the construction environment.
Attributes: A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to manage strict deadlines, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
