    Please Quote Reference Number 12272 About the Company At Guardian Steel, we are an innovative newcomer in the roll forming industry, dedicated to producing high-quality roofing products. We are implementing a technology-enabled platform designed to revolutionize the supply of roofing materials to our customers. To support our growing operations, we are seeking a Junior Fabricator to join our team in Saint Johns. About the Role The Junior Fabricator position is a hands-on role that is vital to the success of Guardian Steel. In this position, you will assist our fabrication team in various tasks. We provide comprehensive training, so a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: - Assist with the cutting, folding, and assembling of metal components. - Operate basic hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, and shears. - Support senior fabricators with measuring, marking, and preparing materials. - Perform spot welding or assist with welding tasks, if trained. - Help load and unload materials for production. - Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health and safety procedures. - Learn to read and interpret basic technical drawings or fabrication plans. - Conduct quality checks on completed items under supervision. - Assist with machine setup and maintenance as needed. - Report damaged tools, equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors. - Follow all company policies, procedures, and production schedules. What We're Looking For We are looking for candidates who possess: - Good physical fitness and a strong work ethic. - Some experience in a workshop or warehouse environment (preferred but not essential). - A desire to learn and grow within the fabrication trade. - Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative team spirit.
