About the Role
We are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position operates on a 5 days on, 3 days off roster, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. As a Laboratory Technician at Tatua, you will play an essential role in ensuring the quality and safety of our dairy offerings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine microbiological and chemical analyses to uphold our quality standards.
- Sampling and testing ingredients and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Following established protocols and procedures with attention to detail.
You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, all focused on maintaining our reputation for excellence and precision in product quality.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Strong adherence to processes and procedures, with a commitment to quality assurance.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
- Proven experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the dairy or food industry.
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
This position involves a 5 days on, 3 days off roster, with the possibility of overtime when necessary.
Please note that applicants must be able to attend an interview in Morrinsville and must have the required documentation to work in New Zealand.
