About the Role
We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Laboratory Technician to join our Product Grading team. This full-time position will require you to work Monday to Friday. As a Laboratory Grading Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the established specifications and maintain our global reputation for quality.
Your responsibilities will include determining the final grade status of products against specifications, creating necessary documentation for customers and market access requirements, and managing data within our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). You will also perform routine functional test analyses, coordinate sensory test panels, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, and follow established protocols and procedures.
You will work closely with a skilled team of professionals who are dedicated to precision and excellence, making a significant impact on our product quality.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following attributes:
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data.
- A strong commitment to following processes and procedures, ensuring quality assurance.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
- An understanding of lab test results is desirable.
- Experience managing data in a LIMS is preferred.
Additionally, applicants must be able to attend an interview in Morrinsville and have the necessary documentation to work in New Zealand.
