We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Production Lead to join our production team.
About the Role
In this hands-on leadership position, you will take charge of the assembly and electrical integration of our products. You will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure that we meet our quality and efficiency standards. Your role will be pivotal in driving our production efforts forward.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assembling products, which includes wiring and installing electrical components and systems according to schematics and technical drawings.
You will perform functional and quality testing on electrical components and completed machines, compiling and maintaining accurate test records.
Additionally, you will install firmware on sub-systems during pre-testing phases and diagnose as well as troubleshoot any electrical issues that may arise in wiring, components, or systems during production.
Documenting cable schedules and variations in wiring diagrams will also be part of your responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
Candidates should have a trade qualification in Electrical Engineering, along with proven experience in electrical assembly, production, or a similar technical environment.
You must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings, and possess strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Comfort with working on firmware and embedded systems during pre-testing is essential, as are excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
A detail-oriented mindset focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement, along with experience in documentation and quality control procedures, is highly valued.
