About the Role We are currently seeking Process Workers to join our team for the 2025-2026 season, with positions starting in November. While relevant experience is advantageous, it is not essential as we provide comprehensive training for all new employees. These roles will primarily be day shifts. The positions are located at our facility on Alabama Road, Riverlands. Applicants must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays. These are full-time roles, offering a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a guaranteed weekly income of at least $705.00. There is potential to earn more when considering allowances and piece rates. Please note that hours may fluctuate above 30 per week based on seasonal workflows and annual close-down periods. Duties and Responsibilities As a Process Worker, your key responsibilities will include: - Performing yard duties and handling livestock - Processing meat carcasses in accordance with customer specifications - Safely separating organs and glands from carcasses using proper knife handling techniques - Operating machinery for the processing, packing, and transferring of carcasses or products - Packing boned meat and meat products into cartons - Moving carcasses to chillers and freezers - Loading meat products into trucks - Cleaning and sanitizing work equipment and work areas Requirements We are looking for individuals who possess the following characteristics: - Enthusiasm, reliability, and strong teamwork skills - A willingness to learn and develop - A commitment to safety and quality excellence Successful applicants will have the opportunity to join an employee-focused and customer-driven company that prioritizes a safe working environment.
