About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled tradesman or a motivated apprentice who is nearing qualification in plumbing, drainlaying, or gasfitting to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously while also mentoring an apprentice. You will be involved in diverse projects that will challenge and enhance your skills. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should have the following qualifications and experience: - A tradesman or craftsman seeking greater independence, or a fourth-year apprentice close to qualifying. - Gas fitting and drainlaying qualifications and experience are highly desirable. - Ability to effectively manage your own work and that of an apprentice. - Strong communication and documentation skills. - Possession of tools relevant to your role; we may be able to assist with this. - Additional certifications such as first aid, working at heights, MEWPs, and confined spaces are advantageous but not mandatory. - A clean New Zealand full driver’s license. - A valid New Zealand work visa, if applicable.
