About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our Parks team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in machinery and small plant operations, while also demonstrating a keen eye for detail. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain turf areas across Porirua City, ensuring they are well-presented and inviting for our community. Your key responsibilities will include: - Mowing and maintaining designated turf areas around Porirua City - Ensuring that our sports fields are tidy and well-maintained according to a scheduled mowing routine - Caring for and maintaining equipment used in these tasks About You We are looking for candidates who have experience working with a variety of small plant machinery, including ride-on mowers or tractors. While knowledge of turf management is advantageous, a willingness to learn and work towards a qualification is essential.
