This casual position offers the flexibility to work shifts that suit your lifestyle, along with the potential for overtime. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of exciting projects, while receiving on-the-job training to further your professional development. As a Carpenter, you will be integral to the construction and maintenance of high-quality woodwork, playing a key role in contributing to the success of our growing company. What You'll Be Doing - Constructing and installing various wooden structures, including frames, walls, floors, and cabinetry. - Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and precision. - Selecting and utilizing the appropriate tools, equipment, and materials for each project. - Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project completion. - Maintaining a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all health and safety regulations. - Providing support and guidance to junior team members by sharing your expertise and knowledge. What We're Looking For - A minimum of three years of experience as a qualified Carpenter, with a solid understanding of carpentry techniques and practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. - Confidence in using hand and power tools, along with a range of woodworking techniques. - A commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with others.
