About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join our Panel Shop team in Masterton. In this role, you will be responsible for accident and collision repairs, addressing rust issues, and performing panel fabrication and fiberglass repairs. Your day-to-day tasks will also include paint preparation, application, and touch-ups to ensure high-quality finishes, as well as interior refurbishments. Additionally, you will maintain accurate job and workshop records.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of five years of experience as a Panel Beater or Collision Repair Technician. A relevant qualification in panel beating or collision repair, or equivalent experience, is essential. You should also possess skills in spray painting and glass removal/refit. We value great communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A clean driver’s license is required, along with the potential to obtain a Class 2 or Class 4 license. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to completing tasks correctly, and a genuine passion for the trade.
Benefits
We offer competitive hourly rates starting from $35 per hour for this full-time position, which includes a minimum of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
