SAP Functional Consultant

About the Company We are partnering with a respected organization based in Auckland that is currently implementing a new property leasing process. Our client is seeking an experienced SAP consultant to assist with configuration and process alignment for this time-sensitive project. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for configuring the SAP Real Estate (RE-FX) and FICO modules to meet lease accounting requirements under IFRS 16. You will serve as the primary liaison between the property and accounting teams and the technical implementation team, ensuring that the functional design aligns with both compliance standards and operational needs. Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include: - Configuring the SAP Real Estate (RE-FX) and FICO modules. - Mapping lease processes to comply with IFRS 16 and internal reporting requirements. - Serving as a liaison between the accounting/property teams and the implementation teams. - Gathering and validating business requirements. - Providing documentation, testing, and user support. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should have: - Proven experience in configuring SAP RE-FX and FICO modules. - Strong accounting knowledge, particularly an understanding of IFRS 16. - The ability to effectively liaise between business and IT teams. - Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. - Immediate availability for a contract lasting four weeks.
