    About the Company At Pāmu, we are committed to sustainable, pasture-based farming practices. Our Whenuakite Farm, located just 20 minutes from Whitianga on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula, spans 520 effective hectares and operates efficient bull systems without reliance on supplementary feeding. We strive to create a supportive and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and development. About the Role We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team at Whenuakite Farm. This hands-on role offers an opportunity to enhance your skills while contributing to a small and dedicated team. Your daily tasks will include livestock and pasture management, animal health care, feed budgeting in collaboration with the Farm Manager, general farm maintenance, fencing, and maintaining records to ensure environmental compliance. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a practical, outdoor setting and possesses a strong focus on health and safety. About You Whether you are an experienced senior shepherd or looking to advance in your farming career, we welcome candidates who are passionate about agriculture and enjoy working with animals. You should be a team player who values mutual support and aims for excellent results. Key qualifications and attributes include: - A commitment to animal welfare and enjoyment in working with livestock - Ideally, a team of working dogs - Strong organizational skills, reliability, and self-motivation - Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team - Comfort with maintaining accurate records and utilizing farm technology, or a willingness to learn - A dedication to safety, wellbeing, and caring for farm assets - A valid restricted or full driver’s license We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences, even if you do not meet every single requirement.
