About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our site-wide maintenance team, focusing on supporting operations in our state-of-the-art remanufacturing plant. This role offers a stable environment that combines variety and responsibility, providing the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment.
In this position, you will be responsible for performing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks primarily within the remanufacturing plant. You will also collaborate with the team to support site-wide maintenance efforts. Your daily activities will include troubleshooting, fault finding, and ensuring that critical equipment operates at its best. Additionally, you will have the chance to engage in machinery improvements, safety checks, and modernization initiatives.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who are trade-qualified in mechanical maintenance or possess significant hands-on experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment. A natural problem-solver with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of responsibility is essential. A reliable, team-focused attitude is also required, along with legal entitlement to work in New Zealand, either through residency or citizenship.
