Trainee Scaffolder

About the Role In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist qualified scaffolders in the safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding on site. This position is perfect for those who are enthusiastic about learning trade skills and progressing towards a scaffolding qualification. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include the following: - Assisting in the loading, unloading, and transportation of scaffolding materials. - Working under supervision to erect and dismantle scaffolding structures. - Maintaining a clean and safe worksite, including proper stacking and storage of equipment. - Following all health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). - Developing knowledge of scaffolding systems, tools, and techniques. - Participating in on-the-job training and attending any required off-site training. Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - Physically fit and capable of handling heavy manual labor. - Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn. - Comfortable working at heights (training will be provided). - Committed to health and safety practices. - Possess a positive attitude and demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team. - No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. - A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Benefits This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with Saturday mornings as needed. The starting rate is $25 per hour, and we provide full PPE gear.
