About the Role We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated physiotherapist to join our Community Allied Health Services team based in Richmond, Nelson. This is a permanent part-time position, with a commitment of 0.6 FTE (48 hours per fortnight). In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance client outcomes. As a key member of our Allied Health team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering individualized treatment programs. Your expertise will be vital in working closely with other professionals to ensure holistic and effective care for our clients. Key Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored treatment plans. - Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies aimed at improving clients' mobility, function, and overall quality of life. - Educate clients and their families on managing symptoms, self-care techniques, and preventative practices. - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and fellow physiotherapists, to ensure cohesive and coordinated care. - Maintain accurate documentation and up-to-date records to support continuity of care. About You To excel in this role, you should have: - Registration as a Physiotherapist in New Zealand and a current practicing certificate with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand. - A strong foundation in evidence-based practice, along with a collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centered care. - Preferred experience in a hospital or community setting. - The ability to work independently within a small team while maintaining high standards of client care. - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
