About the Role
We are excited to announce that we have recently added a planer to our Machine Shed. With a robust production pipeline, we are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced and qualified Timber Machinists who are interested in relocating to the Tasman region.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manufacture a range of product lines, with planers that require frequent changeovers, providing you with a diverse array of work. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating machines
- Meeting quality standards and productivity targets
- Completing maintenance and troubleshooting of machines
- Ensuring documentation is accurate and complete
- Assisting with toolroom operations as needed
To be successful in this position, you will need a trade qualification in timber machining and experience operating planer machinery.
Requirements
This position requires the following:
- A trade qualification in timber machining
- Proven experience operating planer machinery
- Ability to work Monday to Friday from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 47.5 hours per week
