About the Role We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Engineer to join our team in Dunedin. This role is essential for delivering contract requirements, optimizing resources, and ensuring the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: - Developing project methodologies, budgets, and programs for construction, maintenance, sealing, and surfacing. - Collaborating with estimators to prepare accurate estimates and tenders for contracts and variations. - Efficiently managing assigned contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, timelines, and financial targets. - Overseeing project execution while ensuring that quality, safety, and environmental standards are met. - Maintaining strong client relationships and engaging stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery. - Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes. Requirements To be successful in this position, you will need: - A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience in contract management, project delivery, and financial oversight. - Experience in surfacing, sealing, or pavement construction, which would be advantageous. - Strong relationship management and negotiation skills. - A commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
