About the Role
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our community-based team. In this role, you will work with individuals of all ages who have physical disabilities and long-term illnesses, helping them to engage in their daily activities.

Our patient-focused approach utilizes the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance and Engagement, and we emphasize evidence-based practices in our assessments and interventions. While we prefer candidates with experience, we are open to considering applicants from other backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn about wheelchair and seating assessments, pressure care interventions, cognitive assessments, and housing modification assessments.

Requirements
Successful applicants must be registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and hold a current practicing certificate. A current, clean, and full driver’s license is also required, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle being desirable but not essential. Overseas applicants will be considered if they are eligible for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board.
