Our Guest Experience Team plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Palmerston North for a fixed-term position covering parental leave. The likely start date for this role will be in mid-June, with the position extending until early February 2026.
About the Role
In this full-time role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, showcasing your customer service skills by being friendly, efficient, and effective. Your primary responsibility will be to interact with customers, providing them with information in response to their inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Key duties include:
- Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
- Preparing and distributing Warrant of Fitness (WOF) and service reminders to customers via their preferred contact methods
- Processing telephone and online booking requests
- Setting up new customer accounts and managing existing ones while maintaining the customer database to the highest standard
- Following up on initial contacts and customer interactions, accurately recording all inquiries, comments, and complaints
- Evaluating relevant information to address inquiries, bookings, and complaints
- Delivering prepared scripts to ensure new and repeat service and extra care business
- Identifying customers' needs and providing suitable solutions
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries via telephone or electronically
- Providing accurate pricing and delivery information
- Organizing workflow to meet customer timeframes
- Coordinating requests and unresolved issues with the appropriate resources
- Communicating effectively with internal departments
Requirements

- A collaborative spirit, capable of working as part of a close-knit team while managing your own workload in alignment with business requirements
