About the Role
We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in our inventory management process. This position reports to the store's Inventory and Purchasing team and offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within our "big box" format store. In this role, you will develop your skills while engaging in a variety of tasks that contribute to our operational success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maximizing the accuracy of physical and computerized inventory records
- Investigating discrepancies in inventory counts
- Maintaining the Stock Master File
- Developing processes and controls to optimize inventory management within the store
Requirements
We are looking for an individual who possesses the following qualifications:
- Relevant experience in retail inventory management
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Capability to manage a varied and busy workload
This position is critical to our business, requiring collaboration with various team leaders to ensure accurate inventory levels. You will be expected to communicate effectively with team coordinators and provide guidance on all stock-related matters within their respective areas.
This is a full-time role, consisting of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, and reports directly to the Retail Manager. If you believe you have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
