About the Role
We are currently seeking detail-oriented and vigilant Traffic Controllers to manage the safe and efficient flow of vehicle traffic at various construction and roadwork sites in Hastings. This active role is ideal for those who enjoy physical, outdoor work. Key responsibilities include directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic, implementing safety protocols, and closely coordinating with construction teams to minimize congestion and ensure public safety. Please note that work may be weather-dependent during the winter months.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Traffic Controller certification, including TMO or STMS
- A full, valid New Zealand driver's license
- Flexibility to work shifts as required
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety
- Legal rights to work in New Zealand
