About the Role
We are currently seeking a casual staff member to provide coverage at our sKids Vardon site. In this role, you will supervise and assist children in various program activities while ensuring a clean, tidy, hygienic, and safe environment for all children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times.
You will assist the Programme Manager with running the daily schedule and tasks as outlined. You will also be responsible for reporting any concerns regarding children or behavioral issues back to the Programme Manager.
Please note that this is a casual employment role with hours scheduled on an "as required" basis, Monday through Friday. There are no guaranteed minimum or maximum hours for this position. Possible hours include:
- Before school: 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM (if required)
- After school: Starting from 2:30 PM
Location of work: Vardon School, Hamilton
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Hold a valid visa to work in New Zealand without restrictions
- Have reliable transportation, preferably a vehicle, to travel to the site
- Demonstrate a keen interest in working within similar industries
- Possess previous experience working with children, which can include babysitting or volunteer work
