About the Company
WM New Zealand is the leading provider of materials recovery, recycling, and waste management services in Aotearoa. About the Role
We are excited to invite recent or soon-to-be graduates to join our 2026 Graduate Programme as an Industrial Chemist at our East Tamaki location. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career with us and make a significant impact on creating a more sustainable Aotearoa through teamwork and innovation.
The two-year graduate programme will commence in February 2026 and offers a permanent position from your first day. Throughout the programme, you will engage in hands-on projects that contribute to our sustainability goals, participate in leadership and communication development through EMA e-learning modules, and benefit from personalized mentorship by senior leaders. You will also experience a comprehensive induction week, including site tours and sessions with our executive team, as well as opportunities for cross-functional learning and collaboration with industry experts.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this programme, you should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- You are in your final year of study or have recently graduated
- You are a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
- You can commit to a start date of February 2026
