    About the Company We are an established and reputable employer in New Zealand’s meat processing industry, dedicated to excellence and high performance. Our team is known for its extensive knowledge and expertise in red meat processing, and we are currently seeking to expand our workforce with the addition of a Slaughter Board Supervisor. About the Role We are looking for a Slaughter Board Supervisor to join our Southland-based operation. In this permanent position, you will report directly to the Departmental Manager (Slaughter Manager). We have successfully filled multiple supervisor roles and are now seeking a candidate who can enhance our productivity, efficiency, and workplace culture. This is a day shift role, with working hours from 6 am to 5 pm, amounting to approximately 45-50 hours per week. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience: - Previous experience in red meat slaughter. - Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large, high-intensity, and seasonal production teams. - Strong communication skills, both upwards and downwards within reporting lines. - Experience in industry training, mentoring, and upskilling team members. - Familiarity with delivering and training on production KPIs in red meat processing. - A track record of success in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. - Must have immediate eligibility to work in New Zealand.
