About the Role
We are seeking a New Zealand Registered Dietitian to join our small, dynamic team at Wairau Hospital. This role will involve providing clinical dietetics across a range of medical, surgical, pediatric, and mental health settings. You will primarily work on inpatient wards and also support adult outpatient clinics as needed.
This is a permanent, part-time position that requires a commitment of 40 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE), with a schedule from Monday to Friday.
About the Team/Service/Location
Our team consists of 13 dedicated Dietitians who provide services across Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, as well as the Richmond and Marlborough Health Hubs. About You
As a successful candidate for this position, you will:
- Be a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
- Have at least two years of comprehensive clinical or generalist experience in a hospital setting.
- Possess experience in various adult nutrition interventions and be comfortable providing pediatric interventions and education in a ward setting.
- Be flexible with your working hours as required.
It is essential that you are eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid New Zealand visa at the time of application.
