About the Role
We are excited to offer a rewarding entry-level opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our dynamic Finance team. This full-time permanent position is ideal for a strong administrator with excellent customer service skills. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience while managing our financial transactions and nurturing positive customer relationships.
Key responsibilities in this position include:
- Invoice Management: Prepare and issue accurate invoices promptly.
- Payment Processing: Record and allocate incoming payments to customer accounts.
- Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Collections: Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and deliver exceptional service.
- Reporting: Assist in generating financial reports and maintaining accurate records.
About You
This role presents a unique opportunity for growth within our finance team and offers potential for career advancement as you demonstrate your skills and commitment. We are looking for candidates with solid administrative or office experience, good proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new systems. A positive attitude, strong time management abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Skills and Experience:
- Accounts Receivable Expertise: Experience in managing accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
- Administrative Proficiency: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is an advantage.
- Analytical Thinking: Capability to analyze financial data and resolve issues promptly.
