About the Role
Are you looking for a shift work opportunity that supports your lifestyle while providing a balanced work-life experience? We are currently seeking Operations Advisers to join our team in Upper Hutt. This role involves being part of a 24/7 operations team that manages and monitors individuals placed on electronic monitoring bail across New Zealand.
In the position of Operations Adviser, no two days are alike. Your responsibilities will vary from liaising with police on high-risk arrests to developing practical solutions for individuals on bail. Success in this role hinges on strong communication skills, critical thinking, multitasking abilities, and innovative problem-solving.
You will work an 8-week rotating shift pattern that includes morning, afternoon, and night shifts. It is essential to consider your commitments outside of work, as you will be required to work all three shift types during the rotation. Requirements
To thrive in this busy role, you should possess some or all of the following skills and experience:
- Experience in phone and email communications with diverse clients
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including problem-solving and sound judgment
- Proficient computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Resilience in challenging situations and the ability to manage negative behavior
- A collaborative team player who contributes to collective success
- Experience with shift work is advantageous
Additionally, you must hold a Full New Zealand Driver's License and have the legal right to work in New Zealand for a minimum of 24 months without restrictions. Please note that this role is not covered by the Criminal Records (Clean Slate) Act 2014; therefore, we require disclosure of any legal offenses, even those outside of the 7-year period. Candidates who have lived overseas in the last 10 years will also need to provide an overseas police clearance if successful in securing employment.
Benefits
The starting salary for this role is $67,500, with the midpoint of the salary range being $74,057 per annum. The full salary range is between $67,500 and $79,393 per annum, and remuneration will be determined based on your skills and experience.
