    About the Company We are a prominent organization in New Zealand's healthcare sector, comprising Care on Call (NZ) Limited, Florence Nightingale Agency Limited, and Medcall Health Personnel Limited. Our mission is to provide home-based care and support to a diverse range of clients across the country. We are looking to expand our finance team by adding an experienced Payroll and Accounts Administrator. About the Role As a Payroll and Accounts Administrator, you will join our dedicated team responsible for ensuring that all payroll, billing, and payment processes are executed professionally and accurately. Your key responsibilities will include: - Data entry and processing - Checking pay runs for errors - Managing leave applications - Preparing for public holidays - Addressing payroll queries - Performing reconciliations - Troubleshooting billing errors - Reconciling payments received in Xero - Handling client inquiries Requirements To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and experience: - Excellent communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Ability to multitask efficiently - Experience in payroll administration - A sense of humor - Capability to manage a high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines - Strong interpersonal skills to establish positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders - Ability to assimilate and analyze information effectively - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel Important Details This position is a full-time role, requiring 35 hours of work per week, typically from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. We are based in Central Christchurch, and while the schedule is fixed, there is some flexibility available. We are looking for a quick thinker who is adaptable and comfortable with various software applications. The ideal candidate will be able to handle repetitive tasks accurately while also demonstrating creativity and a desire to grow with our team.
