About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Palmerston North, New Zealand. This role requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience or a recent graduate who can meet New Zealand immigration work visa requirements if necessary. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, as work may include weekends, and will need a full driver's license with appropriate endorsements. Key responsibilities include organizing the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles and equipment, liaising with clients to assess their needs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will manage transportation schedules, oversee the loading and unloading of freight, and maintain high standards for the storage and transport of goods. Requirements - A minimum of three years of experience or a relevant degree - Ability to meet work visa requirements as per Immigration New Zealand - Multilingual candidates are preferred - Must be willing to travel - Valid driver’s license with relevant endorsements - Ability to pass a drug test and maintain good physical fitness - Flexibility with working hours, including weekends - Strong organizational skills for managing vehicle purchases and maintenance - Excellent communication skills for client interactions and complaint resolution - Capability to keep detailed records of orders and bookings - Understanding of transportation logistics, including vehicle collection and delivery - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills Benefits We offer a competitive base salary of $29.66 per hour, with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week in a permanent full-time capacity.
