Our team is known for its expertise in civil litigation, and we are currently seeking an experienced Solicitor to join us. About the Role We are looking for a Senior Solicitor to join our litigation team, where you will manage a diverse caseload in civil litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex matters and deliver high-quality legal services to our clients. You will be responsible for providing legal advice, preparing court proceedings, representing clients in court, and supporting our business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Providing legal advice and conducting research in civil litigation matters - Drafting legal documents, including agreements and court pleadings - Appearing in court as counsel when required - Contributing to the development and refinement of legal precedents - Representing the firm at legal seminars and networking functions - Collaborating with senior team members and supporting firm-wide initiatives - Upholding firm policies and maintaining the highest professional standards About You To be successful in this position, you will need: - A current practising certificate - 2 to 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation, ideally in estate, small business, or construction - Strong written and verbal communication skills - High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities - The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - A practical, commercially minded approach to legal work - A collaborative and positive attitude - A clean criminal record We are also open to considering candidates with a strong background in insurance and/or employment law who are interested in expanding their civil litigation expertise.
