About the Role We are currently seeking casual, on-call Furniture Removal Labourers to join our client’s team in the Taranaki region. Our client is a well-established removal company, trusted in the industry since 1972. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, possess a positive attitude, and are looking for flexible hours with the potential for ongoing employment. In this position, you will collaborate with experienced drivers to assist with both residential and commercial removals. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading furniture and personal belongings with care, ensuring that the truck is packed securely and efficiently, and delivering a professional and respectful experience to our client’s customers. Requirements To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates who are: - Strong, physically fit, and capable of lifting heavy items safely - Reliable and punctual, with a proactive attitude - Detail-oriented, with a strong respect for client privacy and property - Able to follow instructions effectively and work well within a team - Willing to learn and take pride in their work To be considered for this position, you will need to provide: - One of the following forms of identification: a Passport OR a New Zealand Birth Certificate along with a Driver’s License - Successful completion of a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test - Reliable transport; a Full Class 1 license is preferred - A CV along with any relevant certificates or licenses (e.g., forklift, Site Safe passport) If you are enthusiastic, dependable, and enjoy hands-on work, we would love to hear from you.
