About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Cleaners to join our team of casual staff in Christchurch. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work around other commitments and choose when and where you work. As a Cleaner, you will perform a variety of cleaning tasks that contribute to the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities we serve. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: - Conducting various cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. - Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and other designated areas. - Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately. - Ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy, and presentable. - Following established cleaning schedules and procedures. - Adhering to health and safety guidelines, including the appropriate use of cleaning chemicals. - Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards. - Assisting with other cleaning-related tasks as needed. Requirements To be considered for this position, you will need: - Full New Zealand working rights. - Previous cleaning experience is beneficial, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. - A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. - The ability to follow instructions and work independently. - Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks. - A responsible and reliable attitude. - Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. - A positive attitude and respect for the privacy and comfort of residents and patients.
