About the Role Our South Taranaki team is seeking an enthusiastic full-time Greenspace Operator to help maintain our beautiful parks and public spaces. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a team player who is eager to learn and contribute to the upkeep of our community. As a Greenspace Operator, your responsibilities will include: - Planning, managing, and undertaking mowing and maintenance of turf in designated sites and reserves according to contract specifications and instructions. - Ensuring that high-quality, timely services are provided within the required timeframes. - Maintaining a strong focus on safety to protect the public, your fellow team members, and yourself. Requirements We are looking for a self-motivated individual who possesses the following qualifications: - A Full Class 1 Drivers License is required; having a Class 2 or above would be an advantage. - Experience in operating large tractors is highly regarded. - Familiarity with upfront or ride-on mowing, or park maintenance is desirable, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. - Proficiency with electronic data entry or computer skills is a plus. - Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with customers.
