We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health Therapies team in a permanent role, offering flexible working options of up to 80 hours per fortnight, either part-time or full-time. About the Team/Service/Location In this role, you will collaborate with whaiora, whanau, and the broader multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centered inpatient occupational therapy. You will manage a complex caseload that includes acute strokes, frail elderly patients, and general medical cases. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring rotational occupational therapists and students, as well as participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the ward and the larger organization. About You We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about sharing knowledge and skills within a diverse and supportive team of acute and subacute occupational therapists. We prioritize professional development, offering mentoring, supervision, and ongoing training. You will have access to regular in-service training, special interest working groups, and various learning opportunities to enhance your clinical and leadership skills. Additionally, our Occupational Therapy Professional Lead will be available to support your growth and promote the occupational therapy service throughout our hospital.
