About the Role We are currently seeking a permanent Sonographer to join our Radiology department on a part-time basis, specifically a 0.7 FTE position, which involves working 56 hours per fortnight. Our Radiology team handles a variety of referrals, including acute examinations from inpatients and emergency department cases, as well as obstetric, vascular, and community referrals. In this role, you will be supported by a dedicated team of qualified Radiologists and Sonographers. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional scanning and time management skills, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment are essential. While your primary workplace will be at Tauranga Hospital, you may also be required to provide ultrasound coverage in Whakatane on occasion. About You To be considered for this position, you must have New Zealand Registration as a Medical Imaging Technologist, with a sonography qualification recognized by the Medical Radiation Technologists Board.
