About the Role Starting in 2026, we are seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers to join our team in Dunedin. This position offers a variety of tasks and worksites, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy staying active. As a General Labourer, your day-to-day responsibilities may include: - Performing physical labour tasks such as wheelbarrowing, digging, planting, spraying, and cleaning - Conducting site clean-up, preparing work areas, and removing waste or hazardous materials - Assisting with the setup and takedown of scaffolds, ladders, or marquees - Supporting tradespeople, including electricians, carpenters, and plumbers - Engaging in pick/pack, warehouse work, and devanning containers - Loading, unloading, or delivering materials and goods - Operating basic machinery and utilizing hand and power tools - Managing basic traffic control or assembly work in production environments - Ensuring that all tasks are performed safely and efficiently Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: - A reliable car and at least a Restricted driver’s licence - Availability for full-time hours - Flexibility and willingness to take on various roles throughout the week - To pass a drug and alcohol test Benefits In return for your hard work, we offer: - Weekly pay - Provided personal protective equipment (PPE) - Potential for ongoing and consistent work - Immediate start - Opportunities for weekend work - Pay rate of $25–27 per hour Location: Dunedin Why Work with Tradestaff?
